Nutella Caramel Chia Jam

Here are 3 recipes that are staples in any vegan kitchen. Perfect for spreading on toast, adding to smoothies, porridge or nicecream or simply adding another dimension to your favourite raw or baked desserts. It's also totally acceptable to eat them straight from the jar with a spoon.

The date caramel is sweet, salty and addictive! Made from just a few simple ingredients such as medjool dates and coconut milk. Its a great alternative to processed sugary shop bought caramel sauces. The creamy consistency comes mainly from using tahini. If you don't like tahini you could use a nut butter such as almond butter or cashew butter in it's place.

The Chia jam contains only 3 ingredients and is refined sugar free unlike many store bought alternatives. I used raspberries (fave!), but you could use pretty much any berries that you fancy instead. Strawberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, or even a mixture of several fruits.

And saving the best for last (in my opinion), the nutella. This was something that I would never in a million years have thought to make myself before going vegan. The original version is full of nasty ingredients such as dairy, refined white sugar and added palm oil. Luckily, it's possible to make it just as tasty as a healthier, kinder, plant based alternative.

The only thing left to decide now is which one you will make first!

As always I really hope you enjoy making this recipe. If you try it, I'd love to see your creations. Be sure to tag me on Instagram so that I can see your creations and tag you in my Instagram stories.
